demand isn't half enough, regardless of stock. |
Thought both the One and ps4 in north america had beat WiiU numbers in north america already, guess i heard wrong, still worrying when other consoles can take over WiiU's territory numbers in a matter of no time.
I predict there will be many 'XBone One is doomed' threads over the coming months and years.

Is this because for many years there have been so many "PS3 is doomed, PS3 haz no games", "all Xbox 360's are exploding, xbox has a giant brick hanging outside of the console" posts floating around? I think the only reason people make "Wii U is d00med" threads is because of the harrassment fans have edured over the years. What do you think? |
In the case of the Wii U its true the Wii U is selling abysmal. The drop off to the Wii is massive.

dead wrong on both statements.
If anything, it seems like there are some Nintendo fans on here who are compensating. I generally click on hot topics as opposed to going into any specific console thread and I'm amazed sometimes at the posts. Nintendo makes a friggin advertisement and that's it's own thread or appeals to buy a Wii U, or hey I'm good/I love this new Mario/DK/LOZ game or how X Y or Z will save the system or N fans with little digs here or there. Or Alright Mario you win :) making it seem like some non N fan has changed teams, nope just an N fan wants more N games and has a big Mario themed signature. And the word Nintendomination every fifth word. Hot Tip: If you are dominating it should be obvious, you should not need to point it out to everyone.
Sony fans are definately more aggressive on here, like ok your console is better...so far, get over it, but I don't feel they are compensating, just gloating like I'm sure the Nintendo fans used to when the Wii was on top. I wasn't a member on the site but it's just a different atmosphere with the N fans
Personally as more of an Xbox fan this past generation, having been a N fan (NES, all portables) and Sony fan (PS1, PS2) in the past, I can say that I don't see MS fans quite as insecure, I mean I realize this is more of an international gaming site where Xbox is bigger in the US, but MS never wins in any polls (good ones anyway) and I don't see any insecurity in xbox fans, guess they are busy playing their consoles.
And I'm not a MS fanboy, my top 3 consoles are PS1, PS2, and GBA, probably put 360 4th on the list and original xbox far far lower. And I have none of the 8th gen consoles yet, looking at the Wii U because I'm cheap and the One will be the last I get more than likely going by prices.

Wii U is at 1.538 million in the US and 0.874 million in Europe. PS4 is at 0.948 million in the US and historically the PS3 has sold better in Europe. In just those two markets, the Wii U should be passed within a few weeks.
However that's ignoring Japan and the rest of the world which means globally the Wii U shouldn't be outsold this year.
You will find that the majority of people claiming "doom" for Nintendo... Are Nintendo fans. Same goes for Sony/MS, though it doesnt happen half as much.

magical assumption that ps4 can keep selling launch numbers weekly and that wii u sales will freeze in time.

I'm not assuming that. Instead of explaining the numbers, I'll just bump this in three weeks.
