I am doing areview on Ryse. When I tend to review things, Im pretty honest. I reviewed the Xbox One launch as 8.8/10. Not 10. LOL. Mainly based on early OS, hardware and controller experience I had Thursday night.

I can of course be extremely positive ( I am that way in my life in general ) but yeah if I dont like a game I woud say. Dead Rising 3 doesnt really grab me. Ill try it, but its not really my thing. Who knows it may be better than what I expect for my taste.

I was with you OP until you start proclaiming that Ryse game is one of the best out there in recent memory. Hey atleast you are liking it more than most people. The OS and functionality seems to work pretty well considering the rumors. Enjoy your new console. :)


Also the other guy shows up trying to get a Ryse out of people by spewing the same bullshit about how he played 81%!!! of TLOU and had to stop. Somehow a repetitive game with meat and potato characters who lack personality is much better because it is on xbone. If you are going to cry wolf next time people come for you Selnor. At least grow some balls and be a bit more rational occasionally. Maybe you honestly like it better than other games since it matches your personality.

I am being rational. I just didnt connect with TLOU the way some others did. My PSN ID is Selnor1983. Check my progress for TLOU yourself. I probably would have eventually finished it. But I wanted GTA5 more than to finish the TLOU. OTherwise explain why I didnt finish the game. Dont say it was hard. I died twice up to that point. I got a little sick of the main character. Christ I cant even remember his name. LOL.

This is why Jay gets much respect from me...even though he is an Xbox fan he still is HONEST and UNBIASED with his opinions on a game. After playing the game I must say the gameplay is indeed tale and a littel boring. COnsidering the yype and visuals you would have expected more from this game. Some people may be TRYING to just hate it for no reason a lot of others just don't like the game. Very nice story and setting...but it is indeed not a great stroy by ANY means.

I actually liked the game but from what the reviews are saying they are pretyt much corret....AMAZING looking game but everything else is meh or not good.

Why because alot of people outside the media of gaming is really enjoying the title? Ryse was more fun to me than most games released so far this year.

1) Based on metacritic scores, which when we see fit we always refer to, and when we dont agree we say "I dont care about reviews"

2) I never said you said it, I was refering to selnor and you backed him up to his ridiculous claim

I was just tired of all these bullshit threads / articles that blow minor issues out of proportion.

"Xbox Ones OS is broken!"
"Voice Commands do not work!"

we had this waaayyy too much. Therefore this was rather positive. And no, it is not perfect.

Here are the things I disliked:
Day One patches for almost every game and the console itself took a while to get the system up and running. Took me some time to download 500MB day one patch, 1.3 GB Ryse day one patch (!!!), 800MB Dead Rising 3 and CoD Ghost day one patches . Devs probably had to hit their deadlines.

And the window about downloading / installing your game could be more informative. I did not even know I had to download 1.3 GB for Ryse and it only said "installing". So the first 4-5% are actually a download and not an install. So I asked myself how long will this take, after 30 Minutes I just had 5% "installed". The other 90% took 10 minutes though. This should have been more obvious.

Other than that, everything runs fine and as expected.
