1) The directional pad still has some issues: If a person who is graduating from Playstation needs to use the D-Pad, the placement still feels awkward for fighting games because of the trading of positions of the offset sticks. This puts the D-Pad in a secondary position. Having played Killer Instinct, which I loved it the controller wasn't properly form fitted for the thumbs. It felt like the the buttons had specific grooves and it forces your hand to slide rather than guide itself in the direction you completely want it to. Granted this is nowhere near the sliding issue that the last gen 360 had, its a huge step so kudos to Microsoft for fixing it. I am much more comfortable using it but it still gets annoying when either you are used to the Playstation controller and are forced to convert to the Xbox One or come from an arcade stick background.
2) The top buttons are too close to one another: To be specific the stacking order of the controllers are awkward. They need to be separated because it forces you to mainly play just with your index fingers on all of the top buttons rather than someone such as myself who is used to using my middle finger and index finger for the bumpers and triggers simultaneously. Your finger slides off and theres barely a groove in between them. It feels like your finger is falling down a mountainous slope. This is a step down from the 360's groove where you felt like you could attack all of the top buttons at once based on instinct.
Here is a picture to show you what I mean:

Outside of that the I actually like the handling better on all of the other parts of the controller based on the overal mold. It has almost a boomerag feeling when you hold onto it. The pictures wont suffice for that, but if you hold it you'll see what i mean. The fact that my fingers dont feel the batter pack like the 360's controller makes me feel even more in control through. :)
