For a second, I thought that was Chewbacca from Star Wars when I heard that. haha
Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS
Just like PS4, you have over 1M consoles in the wild already so the chances of people getting faulty consoles is much greater than usual.
Give it a week or two to see where both stand.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

I remember when I was posting PS4 problems I got called out for seeking negative info to denigrate their beloved console.
Anyway, this is expected and the problems mostly resume to disk drive. It is not overheating and causing fan to go on overdrive, it is not bricking after update etc...
Stay calm and Xbox on...

..look at the disc he puts in
For some reason, I'm still pretty confident in both the PS4 and Xbox One hardware. I don't believe either is unreliable, yet.
You could always go all digital. Not have to worry about the drive issue then. It's not like the system itself doesn't work, just the drive.
