Being the best selling infamous game doesn't mean much ;) have you seen the previous sales.

But this is ultimatly about hype, and i think everyone will agree that infamous second son is the most hyped infamous game ever.

A Trailer that was uploaded one and a half years ago, the latest infamous trailer is nearly 1.9m in just a week

It's also got more views then the latest uncharted trailer.

The view count was the same as the last time I watched it 8 months ago, but whatever. That is still a million people who watched the trailer and didn't buy the game. Most Gran Turismo videos barely crack a million views and those games go on to sell 10m copies. All I'm saying is Youtube video view counts is not a trusted source to tell how much a game is gonna sell.

Edit - Oh, it gained more views than a teaser of a teaser that doesn't show anything othar than a map? ZOMG!!

Something the public is interested in? Nearly 2m views in a week is hype, no matter what spin you put on it.

My definition of hype is a bit different

 

I look at is as how something is being anticipated and how people talk about something

 

The only games that i can remember that had hype "through the roof" were PlayStation AllStars Battle Royale and maybe Killzone 2 atleast on the PS side

 

I guess we see hype a bit different

Did you forget uncharted 2 and 3?  and Playstation all stars never was hyped, What little hype it had went away after that terrible e3 showing.


I would argue that Uncharted 2 didnt have hype "through the roof". Uncharted 2 was like a thief in the night. Uncharted 2 was more of the hit that nobody saw coming.

 

You remember when Sony had the "U R Not (red)E" ad campaign? Ok well that is exactly how i look at Uncharted 2 because motherfuckers were NOT ready when that bitch released lol

 

I can remember some hype for Uncharted 3 but i wouldn't call it "through the roof"

 

Battle Royales hype and momentum was completely sapped when its stages and characters got leaked

I think most people can agree that its a nice game break from shooters. Killzone, ghosts, battlefield, the upcoming titanfall, i think a good amount of gamers want something a little different, even if the concept of the game has been done plenty of times.

?That probably has alot to do with the fact that it is likely the best exclusive the ps4 will be getting in quite a reasonable length of time. Though I do expect this to be a very good game of course.

Look at playstation all star trailer live action than look at its sales. Then think about the logic your using and how a video were anyone can watch for any reason lead to your conclusion.
