Finally ive gotten a 3DS after 3 long years since its release i finally get to enjoy this amazing system!

Lucky for me i know a "guy", and he sold me one for $70!!! insanee right?? everything works and its pretty badass.

haha at the begining of the year i had a goal to get both the WiiU and 3DS this year and I have no idea how i made it happen but i did! Plus all with my own money. This is a huge acommplement since im like only 16 and dont even have a job yet XD.

Games? umm well no  retail 3DS games yet sadly but it come downloaded with kirby adventure 3d, link 4 swords, pokedex and mario and donkey kong. other than that just demos.

I was going to buy games but christmas is coming up and i kinda need to buy presents for people.

*Sign* it kinda sucks being a gamer and having a girlfriend... Should i buy the legend of zelda:link between world or use the money to go hang out/buy her a present XD lol..... First world problems i suppose.

Anyways. any games you guys recommend? Also i have a black 3DS, what color is yours?

If you like JRPGs: Fire Emblem Awakening, SMT 4, and Tales of the Abyss. Also check out Bravely Default when it releases (depending on territory).
Get your Nintendo IPs on... aka: Most of all Mario (if you like that), Zelda (Ocarina and Link Between Worlds), Kid Icarus Uprising, and Luigi's Mansion. Almost Forgot... POKEMON X OR Y (OR BOTH).
There's a lot more, but this is a start. Mine is the Red X and Y 3DS XL.

Before anyone else comes to this thread suggesting you the usual suspects (Pokemon Y/X, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Animal Crossing: A New Leaf, etc, etc, yada, yada), i'm gonna suggest you the single best RPG in the Mario franchise since Super Mario RPG:

Mario&Luigi: Dream Team Bros. If you like RPGs and Mario, you'll love the beejebus out of this game.

I bought a 3DS Xl and Donkey Kong the other day. Such a great purchase. What are DS games like on 3DS? I never had a DS but there seems to be many great DS games out there.

The screen is just like a regular DS, there aren't any enhancements. There are annoying black side bars on the XL because the 3DS XL screen is bigger than the regular DSi LL screen, and it won't stretch to fit.

I guess DS games are quite pixelated on the 3DS Xl then?
