Forums - Gaming - Some Xbox One Owners Reporting a ‘Green Screen of Death’ or Bad Disc Drive

Seems IGNs came from Amazon.

Should check to see if majority of these problematic XBones came from there. Could be just like with PS4. Possibly poor shipping.

Only pages 1 - 4 are 100% verified.... thats less than 20% of verified reviews.

Well now the xbox fanboys can bite stop laughing, since they were laughing all last week at the PS4 failures.

Yesteady it was 10%... te Verified tag takes a time to show... some post not Verified yesterday are verified today.

BTW that's mens nothing... the issues are below 5% that is fine.

I can understand why some people may want this to be a thing.

yield is fine, OS is amazing.

people are searching twitter for issue? lmao

Oh like everyone was searching for issues with the PS4 right?
Now of course its a bad thing

Of course yield is fine if you only sell 1 Million consoles in 13 countries including the USA+UK that pushed the 360 so hard last Gen.
Would interesting to see if the One had the same demand as the PS4 and if they could pump out that many consoles.
1 Million is a slow day in its weakest market for Sony jk
But you won't accept that right? You will probably say they are toe to toe.

Twitter was last week the number 1 source for SOny haters including IGN and a lot of people here on this site.
The favor is returned and next week the same game is beginning again.

Only thing i find funny right now that IGN is so unlucky to get a broken PS4 and a broken One.
Both are from Amazon?Good i didn't PreOrder anything from there.

Why is it so hard to release a new console with no hardware problems?

Not hard it's just that consumers in the gaming market today consist of many Zealots, the console could burn down houses or blow up Al Qaeda style and people would still tout launch issues as a defence for the companies. I'm struggling to find other industries where consumers do this but in all of them people find issues of new products unacceptable, I wonder if some of the people saying launch issues buy new cars only for it to breakdown on the way home and say "Well launch model issues", this madness only happens because prats in the market put up with it.

The issues with disc drive are alreday bigger than PS4 issues.
