I live in New Zealand and the Xbox One has just come out here, seeing that its only $700.00 here with a game I thought id go pick one up so Id have something to do while I wait for my PS4 which even though I pre ordered in September will be coming in March 2014 due to "extremely high demand". The store clerk at my local EB games said that their store had recieved over 200 pre orders for the PS4 and with their launch allocation only being 75 I among many are missing out. Now I asked if it was possible if another store had a spare one and he laughed. Apparentally all of the 25000 launch PS4s that EB games will be getting have sold out completely. However he did mention that his store had only recieved 12 Xbox One pre orders so they were considering a bundle in order to shift the other 50 they have haha. Now recently ive been hearing that the Xbox One has been catching the PS4 in pre orders and now I know for a fact that the simple fact I could go buy an Xbox One today with ease shows that this is not the case here in New Zealand. Also I bought Ryse and Forze, AVOID Ryse but buy Forza, itll do till GT 7 comes to PS4.

I can confirm this, I'm working in the Eb games factory at the moment NZ. We have a few pallets of Xbox ones still in the factory. But every single PS4 is leaving the factory. The shipment is 3 times the size aswell. a second shipment arrives on december 12th then we dont get another shipment until next year. All three shipments are sold out. You have to go on a long waiting list if you want a console.

Somehow XBO is available still to buy online at EB, PS4 is sold out until next year already. Im hoping when I do want a PS4 next year they will be available again.

All managers got free xbox ones, even the all factory staff got one. They will probably get a ps4 next year sometime, right now they are as rare as unicorn in nz

Aus is the same but honestly I don't care lol. Let everyone beta test. I did that with the PS3 and had to replace mine so can wait for the price to drop and till they introduce a larger hdd model.

Shows the future for Sony is looking pretty good if the demand for their systems is so strong. They need to ramp up production and keep the volumes flowing through.

This is the problem with oceana region. Shipments take a long time lol. Next one to Aus is early next year which probably means March.
