Final Fantasy Series.....
I would choose a series with a good amount of titles. So probably the Shin Megami Tensei series or Tales series.

Gran Turismo obviously in love since the first
Distant Second place Final Fantasy in love since 9, and have some variety with Tatical, Dissidia, Chronicles and the likes.
If I would choose just based on variety MARIO (even tough most of the spin-offs doesn't attract me, but hey if its just one franchise).

Damn that would just really suck only being able to play one type of game. =/
I guess if it came down to it, I'd go with LittleBigPlanet as it has infinite replayability and so much variety so I'll never get bored of it.
Very hard question.
It would either be Super smash bros or the souls games. I play both A LOT.
Final Fantasy. Regardless of the series' current direction, the backlog of titles that are fantastic is huge and has tons of variety.

It's all about the game.
Mario, because it's so diverse. Even with only one franchise to play, I would have access to 2D/3D platformers, sports games (football, tennis, racing...), RPGs, party games, you name it.
