I want Vita TV but as an accessorie for PS4 to stream to other rooms in the house, maybe if others are thinking like me there waiting for the PS4 first.
Its pretty good. If it holds even half of that, added to the normal Vita sales it will have effectively double Vita weekly sales.
It might see some sucess in the west aswell due to the low price.
You all are not realizing that Vita TV is launching in the worst place possible. Japanese gamers prefer handheld gaming over console gaming, so it would do better in the West. So we'll see if Sony decides to make the right decision and launch it worldwide.

I agree with you. For me Vita TV will be a PS4 accessory (why is it only 1080i? 
), so these numbers in a country that hasn't got PS4 just yet aren't bad I guess. I'd like to see something more, but then again - it's not a product that's expected to be a blockbuster, it's just a spin-off product. It's so cheap though, that I'm sure gonna get it.

I was impressed. Predicted 70k this week, and instead got 85-90k.
Honestly, this is about how much I expected. I would be surprised if it did as well as many people were hoping it would. (talking about people who think this will immediately "save" the vita).

I think it did alright. Being that it is Vita related, I didn't have much high expectations for it. Hopefully people will enjoy and the sales should be combined on Vgchartz. It's essentially the same thing as the XL is to the 3DS, Lite/I to the DS ect.

No, is not. 3DS XL/2DS can play all 3DS games. Vita TV cannot play all Vita games.

Sony will launch it in the West and it'll sell much better no doubt, its still new hardware with Vita's biggest release of all time (currently). No excuses for first week. It did good, but not great imo. Back when it was first announced everybody was going prediction crazy stating 100k+. There were articles saying Vita TV sold out within a day and people thought there and then it would be huge!!!!
Also remember the part where you tell me so :P Over 150k per week in japan i believe is wat you said........ *Mu hahahaha!!!
