I played every offline ff game since 6.

I absolutely loved 6,7,8 and 10. Great games, great stories, great characters.

Then i played 12. 12 was uhmmm different. I played it for 40 hours but then i laid it down and never touched it again.

Oh my crap: ff 13. The trailers were stunning!!! I needed to play that game. We all know how that turned out to be.

But i didnt learn. I played ff 13-2 also. What? you did>??? Yes, i'm guilty. I actually enjoyed it for the first 15 hours, but then it became very repetitive.

I'm done with this generation of ff. I won't buy Lightning return. Never.

But maybe someone has good legimit arguments to buy it.

Let me read why???

Get the next gen one then FF14 :) its great!

13-2 could have been great if they gave it a proper ending and not a stop gap game for Lightning Returns. I will still get the game because I always finish a series but not at a day 1 purchase. My $60 bucks is going to Tales of Symphonia: Chronicles because Baba and his Tales Studio deserves more support.

ive yet to finish 13-2, ff13 was amazing my playtime is near 70h so it must have been great

The 'Press X to go' Final Fantasy that was FFXIII was a huge miss in the series. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get FFXIII-2 or Final Fantasy Dress Up Game 2 (Lightning Returns). That doesn't mean people might not enjoy it, I have a friend who actually liked FFXIII... I've yet to properly moan at him for this.

Boobies

I hated the battle system on the last one. I have almost 0 interest in the current FF series now.

Because I want too...

Believe it or not despite the level of bashing I gave FF13 and FF13-2, I think Lightning Returns actually looks good.

Do I think it will be good. No I think it will be a 6.5 - 7/10 game.

Square Enix need to write a good script first. Its pointless giving you an RPG you can't be bothered to be engaged with. If the script is back I don't have much interest in the game world.

Because Lightning is actually in it this time.
