I think that ps4 will have around a 40-50% advantage in sales over Xbox one in USA at the start. That will be enough for Xbox One to be the second best launch ever in USA, so Microsoft will be very happy anyway. They will have sold twice the amount of Xbox 360, minimum....A huge improvement for Microsoft. Their only problem is that Sony has improved even more.

It have to be close to 1 million for that... PS2 sold over 900k units in the first day (or few days)... PS4 barely beat PS2 in US.

Edit - 980k is for the first two days in Japan... I'm checkin the US numbers.

PS2 sold that much in USA?? do you have any confirmation of that??, I thought it was a lot less because there wasnt' enough stock at launch. Well, if that number is true, then it will be third fastest to reach 1 million IMO.

Two shipments. Microsoft supposedly has less supply and has to give a lot day one to Europe.

I'll go with two weeks, say 700k first 24 hours North America.

Probably a week. As XboxOne launches in fewer countries in November they will probably have a bigger % of their consoles shipped to US.

Hard to say since we don't have production numbers. I'll say it'll take less time than the PS2 but more than the PS4. Probably less than 48 hours.

Well the ps4 had over 1 million pre-orders so i guess that's why.
From my understanding the xbox one also has over 1 million pre orders.
Not everyone with a pre order will buy one but most will. So just do the math.
