Okay so, selnor1983, if review scores dont matter to you, stop talking about them, and seece, we get it, you reeealy like xbox, but kindly stop twisting the rules to favor your chosen platform, when you compare launch offerings all of the games matter, regardless of multiplatform or exclusivity.

Yes I really like xbox, what's your point?

Don't call me out for calling out illogical comparisons. The multis will score the same, and XB1 has more higher scoring exclusives than PS4, that's a fact. If you wanna get in a huff about that feel free.

So 2 success stories for Xbox gamers today.

1stly Killer Instinct. Wow. What a reception. Coments like next year will be the best fighter ever etc. Really happy with Double Helix here. 6 characters and 1 mode of play and it is right with the likes of full games Killzone and Call Of Duty. Gameplay is flawless. Cant wait for re reviews and new content in March.

Also Dead Rising 3. Looks to be a great experience. And people seem to love the open world epic. Should fnish around 80 meta to.

With this in mind Forza 5 should 'SHOULD' do 90+. After all it has more content than any other next gen title period.

Really happy with the launch from a sales perspective. As for me? I don't care for reviews. I already new what I wanted. And it looks as though I wont be disappointed.

It is always best to go by what is written in the review itself and not the overall score.

Take Killzone for example. Majority say it is the best in the series, yet it is scored 10 points lower than the KZ3, which is considered worse than KZ2.

The reason this Killzone was scored so low is because it has to compete with COD and Battlefield. KZ3 didn't with its february release date.

Dead Rising 3 seems to be a mixed bag of Good and Very Good.

I'm most happy to see KI has solid reviews. Its not even a complete game yet.

Confirmed: MS spent money to keep PS4 reviews low and X1 reviews high.

Sooooo...multiplats?

Read his comment and judge for yourself.

But here are the exclusives.

One:

DR3 - 78
KI - 74
Golf - 68
Crimson Dragon - 56
Lococycle - 53

Average: 65.8

PS4:

Resogun - 82
KZ - 74
Knack - 58

Average: 71.3

I don't know why anyone would say what he said when One actually got lower scores than PS4 (multiplats included or not).

So if XB1 had 5 90+ games and 10 5 rated games, and the PS4 had 3 80 rated games, the PS4 line up is better because its average is higher?

Averaging out the scores is stupid unless there is an even amount of games. Fact is XB1 has an exclusive rated on par with Killzone (KI) and one that'll be above Reso (Forza) and then Zoo Tycoon, Ryse, Power Star and Dead Rising to boot which PS4 has nothing to counter with.

It is flawed, but the thing is we're already using metacritic to begin with and metacritic itself averages out the releases for that year for each platform and publisher.

Oh my bad, doesnt matter though if you add it under the assumption that it scores 82 like ps4 version, the average doesnt move from 73.5 anyway.

i wouldnt bet on all multis scoring the same, especially BF4 and COD, but NFS definalty should.

If it does 90+ with half the content of the last game ill eat my hat.

But Forza 4 has half the gameplay?

Worse AI, Worse Phsyics. No lazer scanned tracks etc etc.

NFS got 85 and only has 50 cars?!?!

Im not getting in a huff, the xbox one has more lower scoring games too, my point is cherry picking the parts that suit you is stupid.

I drew up the lists TO POINT OUT HOW SIMILAR the overall offerings for each console were, i.e. "whichever console you pick, you're getting a decent launch selection', so kindly stop trying to remold it into console war ammunition.

Yes and Forza 5 has to compete with NFS and Gran Turismo 6, which even though on an earlier gen console contains more content in terms of cars, tracks and in game features such as weather and night racing.

These things could and should be taken into account considering it is supposed to be a evolution of the previous generation. This is what many reviewers were getting at with Killzone.

Of course we will know in just a few days.

Stop trying to call me a fanboy without saying it, mods aren't stupid you know.

My whole point is that the launches aren't on par, XB1 has more games, that are better rated. 3 x 8 game averages is what you call twisting the truth, as I explained to pezus (Yes I know it wasn't what you were talking about).

Gonna post my list again. No point in including multiplats because they're gonna score the same (COD already has).

XB1 - Forza
PS4 - Resogun
XB1 - Dead Rising 3
PS4 - Killzone: Shadow Fall
XB1 - Killer Instinct
XB1 - Zoo Tycoon
XB1 - Powerstar Gold
XB1 - Ryse (sure it'll score higher than 67 ...)
PS4 - Contrast
PS4 - Knack
XB1 - Crimson Dragon
XB1 - Lococycle
