I can't really disagree with YOUR list, because it's your opinion. But I disagree with the number of games you consider to be "perfect". I always thought that the only games deserving of that 10/10 score either completley innovated it's genre, or refined it so well to create a new standard. And without futher adew,
Ps3-Sales! 10/10 games list
*Note* Due to myself being 19, I won't have a lot of older games on this list, such as Mario 64 and Ocarina of time, due to the fact that I played them much later than the actual releases
Call of Duty 4 - Hate if you want, but this game redefined the first person shooter. Multiplayer that was innovative for it's time, with an 8 hour epic campaign that actually had a great story. Gameplay was borderline perfect.
Halo 3 - Refined the Halo series. Again, gameplay almost perfect. The complete package of a $60 game.
Super Smash Bros Brawl - The best local multiplayer game of all time. Story was non existant, but it didn't matter. The lasting appeal is almost infinite with unmatched gameplay.
Assassin's Creed 2 - Sure it had visual flaws, but what it did was redefine the open world adventure game. We take it for granted now, but think about what you felt when you first played Assassin's Creed 1. Amazing. AC2 took Ac1 and made everything about it better.
Mass Effect 2 - Since I can't put the entire series on here, I'll put the best of the bunch. No game has ever attempted what Mass Effect did. Amazing storyline and the lore behind it.
The Last of Us - Completely redefined what kind of storytelling can be achieved in a video game. Raised the medium to that of high budget film level quality. Character development and motion acting are now standard if you want to surpass what this game achieved.
So. That is my list of 10/10 games. Are they completely perfect? No. And no game will EVER be completley perfect. But they were so close, they get the nod by either innovating in it's genre, or completely redefining the genre. These games all left that special place in my heart. The kind of games that are with you forever. A lot was left of this as well, but they aren't perfect. Games like Halo Reach, Mario Galaxy, Uncharted 2, Persona 4 Golden.
Again, I feel bad because I'm only 19. All these games came out in this generation, so I'm biased with the decisions. But I only wanted to include games I played at time of release. I know the full impact that the game had. Sure, Mario 64, Resi 4, Super Mario Bros, FF7; they're all great. But I played them much later than they came out. I don't understand the full impact that they had on the industry.
Thanks :D
