But don't rule out an amazing Wii U comeback! We know Wii U can often beat Ouya, so if Ouya will reach 7M LTD sales by year's end, Wii U should equal or better it!!!

I'm going to bet that Sony sent a disproportionate amount of their supply to NA so EU won't be able to match it. I'll bet 600,000 in 24 hrs for the EU launch.

If it did a million at launch day, It'd be the highest... almost definitly.

Not because of demand though so much as Europe being relegated 3rd bannanna status.

Japan was the home of the majority of consoles, so they launched their first traditionally, followed by the US, the biggest, most important market, then the europe launch always came late, and since they had to still fill orders in the US and Japan which had been sold out... supply is down.

So it's all a matter of stock and how much they produced.   Which so far, Sony has produced a pretty impressive amount of consoles.

It could be they frontloaded the american market because it's the biggest and the one number that everyone will care most about... or it could be more even.  We'll see.

I don't agree with the 'nuf said bit.  please explain.  Are you expecting 100,000 or more WiiUs to be sold when that game comes out, or are you expecting that game to canabalize the excitement for a new console (which would be somewhat unprecedented as far as I know).  What number do you think PS4 will get that day?
