So yeah, this is different to my UK thread and based upon the fact that Sony just managed to sell over 1 Million PS4's in North America in 24 Hours.

With Europe being a far, far better region for PlayStation sales-wise and the Wii U having only sold 850,000 units in Europe to date will we see Sony's 4th homeconsole outsell Nintendo's Wii U in a single day on the market? Will the PS4 be popular enough? Will Sony have enough stock to meet said demand?

If they get at least 900K units shipped there, then 100% yes. That would be crazy if, launches aligned, the PS4 sells 3M+ in its first day of sales.

I think 2,5kk is possible. It won't sell 1mil in Japn, but it will be a record anyway
