For a game like Infamous (3rd person shooter, action/adventure), 30fps is probably quite alright so better to focus on a steady 30fps than 60fps that doesn´t do the game much good.

I'm not arguing the quality of the game. I'm saying why are they bragging about it.
Btw 60 fps makes any game better because of input lag. I'm not saying it's crap because it's not though.

Exactly as expected.
Be it Infamous or Wind Waker, 1080 @ 30 is ideal for open-world games.
