Wrong. Graphics have helped Killzone stay out of the 50's - 60's range.

If you really think that reviewers still give that big a bonus just for graphics then I think you'll have a bad awakening in the next couple months. But believe what you want, we'll see who is right on thursday.

bar is so low Ryse almost has to get over it even if it falls. I'm figuring it'll end up with a meta in the 60's. Be interesting to see where it actually ends up come Friday.

Ryse should get no less than 80, but knack I haven't played or looked much into really. However, it could be a really cool game and deserve a 80+ score as well... Totally different genres though, and honestly I'd rather play Ryse, but would more likely buy Knack since I have kids and it seems like a fun casual gaming experience

edit: Crytek does amazing graphics, and so does GG... Looking at screens its hard to tell unless you play it on the same tv for yourself. KZSF looks amazing for SP (and MP), but the screens look way better since I only have a 720p tv

I listen to several gaming podcasts and I often heard Knack compared to God of War. Looking at video reviews, its seems you primarily beat things up in button mashing style as opposed exploring. Frankly, I don't understand how they screwed that game up. All they had to do was make a God of War clone appropriate for kids.

Regardless of which gets the better score, Ryse has my attention. Not just because of the sexy graphics, but the combat system and story seem more interesting. I also like me some realistic gore.
