Nintendo has done and can do excellent marketing for it games and systems- but for soe reason they either will not or can not do even a passable job marketing the Wii U- this add is just not very good on many levels- considering the fact they are still not going to be spending much $ s advertising the Wi u- I wish they would make what they are doing count

This add still does not do a good enough job explaining the Wi U is a totally new console- the word "upgrade" typically implies improving something you already have more so than something totally new

Oh my god...why would they say upgrade? They made it sound like its just a better Wii. They need to specifically say "THIS IS A NEW CONSOLE" not an upgrade.

They already attempted to attract the core market with ZombiU....didn't work. Casuals and families have not gone away, it's just that other products like tablets have been able to entice them better. For the time being, this is a step in the right direction in order to increase sales and should have been the type of commercial that was made for the launch of the Wii U.

ok that was a decent premise... but wow was it executed poorly.

I've never seen a Wii U comercial, never seen a nintendo game comercial period. The closest thing I've seen are ads for games like AC4 or COD with the Wii U logo at the bottom.
