You only look worse because his official definition is open to interpretation, and urban dictionary supports the stance since the word is more slang after all.
Words having more then one use.......its witchcraft and I must be burnt at the stake! lol

You still don't understand what "flop" means, don't you ? A flop is a game that will sell poorly and I highly doubt killzone SF will sell less than 2 mill lifetime. Since this is a game business site the term "flop" around here means sold poorly. Go to GAME sites instead of SALES sites to bring the the fight over there instead of here because metascores are irrelevant in a place called "vgchartz".

Clearly many people, including the OP, use the word to define when something "falls below expectations". The official dictionary/urban dict. definition is open to interpretation and does in fact accomodate the use I am using.
A game business site? lol please. This is a gaming forum that accomodates all sorts of gaming discussion. When people predict a certain meta bracket and the reality falls below.....what word would you suggest?
Either way, when you find yourself arguing over uses of words in a dictionary to save face over a video game that you somehow find yourself obligated to defend....I think you are having an off day :P
Take the flop like a man and make a better informed prediction next time. If its met, good job. If its higher, then that's even better news. Flops happen on both sides.
