I expected lower reviews but not that low.

My prediction was 6 - 8 / 10.
Now it got a 3/10, 4/10 and a 5.9/10...

Anyway: Do not let your hype get killed by reviewers. Go and get this game!!!!

The problem with Knack lies in a deeper flaw with Sony in my opinion; they're following the path of trying to make games more like movies, therefore when they tried to make a family friendly game, instead of looking to games like Mario, Rayman, or their own Crash Bandicoot for inspiration, they looked to the likes of Shrek.

It's not that terrible at the moment on metacritic, it holds 60 after 12 reviews.

That's beside the point though, sub-zero-TM said it wasn't looking good for PS4 exclusives review wise and I agree that both Knack and Killzone fell short of expectations.

Saying otherwise is just defensive, I agree with Truck and Sub zero.

I don't buy that it's just a new console launch thing either.

(and yes before you say it CGI, I expect the same from Xbox One)

This is the PS4 game in which I'm most interested...
There are enough good scores that my interest hasn't really wavered...

After reading some reviews for Knack it seems that its suffering from being well... Boring. Theyre obviously trying to go for that Crash Bandicoot style action/platformer style, but its simply not up to the standards of what is quite frankly one of the best platforming series' there is.

I said it when the game was revealed. They need to add stuff into the levels and they need to give Knack "more", so to say, when it comes to the actual platforming. It seems very restrictive too.

Kids will love it, but the people looking for that nostalgic, Crash Bandicoot-like experience aint gonna be the ones talking about it.
