I'm not a graphics whore by any stretch of the imagination, but one of the main things I want in Nintendo's next console is pure power.  Even if Nintendo themselves don't want to utilize it.  I say they need to make third parties find a new reason for not releasing games on their hardware.  I'm a 100% sure that the Wii U would be more popular if it didn't have a preconceived notion of it being on par with the ps3 and 360.  Oh, and for the love of God, don't put Wii anywhere in the next name!

I want their gimmicks to be optional and not forced, kinda like the 2DS in a way.  I think the gamepad feels comfortable and all but every time I look down at the screen I have to stop and I lose my focus in the game.

That they include a WiiMote plus and a pro controller in every console so that everybody has both options.

The WiiMote is clearly the best input device in a home console of all time, i don't get why they removed it as the standard input device for the Wii U

Really, find a way to avoid these goddamn software droughts...going 8/9 months without releasing anything important is unacceptable.

That´s by far my main complaint about Nintendo and would be my main wish for their next system.

With all the doom and gloom, a better question is. Will Nintendo have another home console?

I great account system.. Like Jesus... Make a non shitty account system so if my console/handheld gets stolen, I don't lose all my digital purchases without having to phone them and argue with them... More power would also be nice but not too much of a deal breaker

i want the portable to be the control for the console, so we have two gaming devices by the price of one. That will easy Nintendos job creating games and increasing profits, while we get the best of the worlds at once.

If you look at NIntendo's console vs handheld games they are made completely different, the handheld games are made to be played in short intervals at a time and the console games are not.  I'd rather they stay seperate and have their own feel.

I want them to release a console just as or even more powerful than it's competition. I want them to have two new M-rated franchises. I want them to have traditional controllers. I want them to have robust online with an achievement-system. All this just to show that gamers and the media are hypocrits

Power, and fuck the gimmicks. I LOVED the Gamecube and N64. I'm a big Sony enthusiast, and I own over 200 games on the PS2, but in terms of hours played my GC racked up more hours than my PS2 even though I owned significantly less titles for it. It had great games and it was a power house, so they put almost everything on other platforms to shame (a pity it was not appreciated my the masses). Of course, I want Nintendo to make changes to their approach to software and marketing too. The synergistic combination of those changes will be VERY attractive, in my view.

And this bs about games being tied to the system instead of the account ... they NEED to dispense with that. Region free might be nice, but I'm indifferent to that.
