Haha of course. Thankfully Nintendo users don't need to resort to calling each other f*gs over the internet

Seriously, you may not like the man which is valid, since it's your opinion. However, you have to admit he is the most successful out of all the current CEO's in the industry. He is definitely Nintendo's most successful CEO. I mean sure I don't like that everything moves at a snail's pace with the Wii U but some of you really have some knee jerk reactions.

And I think everyone will be very surprised how unspectacularly these two systems will eventually do on the market. There are too many devices!

but that post is pro Iwata

Iwata never said he would resign. What a stupid article in the OP.

Iwata isn't going anywhere. Some are saying he screwed up and perhaps he did, but who the hell would take over?

Seems like all Iwata can provide these days is bs..

Did you even know who Satoru Iwata was when he took over as president? Very few people did. No one here really knows who else Nintendo has.

Nintendo are a big global company capable of offering great wages. There would be literally thousands of intrested applicants if the position was open.

Nintendo is a fairly unique company, you would need intimate knowledge about Japanese business tradition, company tradition as well as full comprehension of the entire consumer electronics market, you would also have to posses the skills and balls to pull Nintendo out of the ditch they're currently sitting in.

This is not a job for anyone and thousands of applicants would probably yield only a tiny number of viable candidates. I'm not saying Iwata is magical, I don't care if he works there or now, but simply replacing the head of Nintendo like that is no easy task and requires some hard thinking.
