Panzer Dragoon (Saturn/1995) Guessed by brendude13

Having missed all the Sega systems growing up, I made it a point to go back and collect as much as a could (I'm now a proud owner of Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast). The Saturn was of particular interest to me because I knew next to nothing about it. Maybe that's why this game blew me away. It wasn't even on my radar until I started researching the Saturn library. From the opening cinematics to the first appearance of an endless ocean littered with ruins (pictured above) I was mesmerized. Then came the battles, happening in 360 degrees, and the adrenaline rush of dodging and ducking enemy projectiles and environmental hazards. A beautiful, demanding, amazing game from an underappreciated system.

About this franchise, how is it? I've been told PD Saga is among the best JRPG's out there, but it's supper short. I have Panzer Dragoon Orta (which include the original) on my XB, I like it but not particularly. However I'm really curious about Saga. Just that it's a $300 game.

Hint for #37:

The hero of this first game in the series shares his name with a 14th century Italian poet.

Devil May Cry (Dante)?

I'm afraid I've only played the first game, although I own the others. I managed to get Saga for $80 on eBay, but usually it costs around $200-$250. Once I get through the series I'll be sure to let you know!

32 - Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward

Virtue's was one of those other games where I knew jack shit about and was my introduction to the series. I honestly didn't know anything besides that it had puzzle solving and K. And I have to say it was an adventure to play. What would happen next is what I thought of every minute since the 1st ending. The game threw in surprises back to back, my body couldn't handle it. The game was just so good and the puzzles were quite enjoyable. When it comes to plot, this game exceeds and I'll never forget some of the moments I had with it. Truly one of the best visual novels I've played. The characters are really something.

31 - Mario Party 5

Mario Party 5 was the 1st Mario party game I played and was truly the best multiplayer experience I had on the Gamecube. What can I say? It has the best maps, mini-games and the character selection is very decent. Then we also have a lot of different modes to play in. This game was really packed with content and it really made me content. It's on my top 5 of games I've had most fun with. This is one game I'll never turn my back on and it still holds up well today, it's just such a fun and colorful game.

29. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
GameCube (2004)
Intelligent Systems

By the time Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door came out, I was already a big fan of the original Paper Mario. It's unique art style, fun and engaging gameplay, and wonderful cast of characters drew me in and never let me go. So by the time The Thousand Year Door released 3 years later, I was ready for another fun quest with Mario. What I didn't realize was that this sequel was more than just "bigger and better", and that Intelligent Systems (one of the most underrated Dev teams out there) would craft a magical adventure of epic proportions. First of all, I have to give credit to IS and Nintendo Treehouse for some of the best dialogue and characters I've ever witnessed. Vivian, Bowser, Rawk Hawk, Cortez, Pennington... they're just so lovable and memorable. Not only are the characters great, but both the overworld and the in-game battles are a joy to play through. All in all, this is an unforgettable game with unforgettable cast of characters.

Hint for #28:

Only you
can make this world seem right
Only you
can make the darkness bright
Only you and you alone
can thrill me like you do
and fill my heart with love for only you

Only you
can make this change in me
For it's true
you are my destiny
When you hold my hand, I understand
the magic that you do
You're my dream come true
my one and only you, only you

Only you and you alone
can thrill me like you do
and fill my heart with love for only you

Only you
can make this change in me
For it's true
you are my destiny
When you hold my hand, i understand
the magic that you do do
You're my dream come true
my one my one my one and only you

How the f*** did you do that? You must have just got the disks didn't you?

Also PDS has gone up since you last looked, I'm a pretty decent eBay seller (made over $1,000 last year off flipping games from garage sales), and the game usually sells for about $280-$320 now.

Either way, I hear a lot of good things about this franchise, I might go beat the original/orta soon.
