Clue for #30: My first PS3 game: the rebirth of a great series which is now unfortunately pretty much dead after three lackluster entries in a row.

I was going to say Tools of Destruction, but then I thought that's not really a "rebirth" and the series isn't dead.  And ItN was only debatably "lackluster".

Ridge Racer 7, possibly?  But again, not really a "rebirth".

Splinter Cell: Double Agent?

Resistance: Fall of Man

#37 - This game received some praise for mocking other well established franchises but critisizm for a lack of originality. Had a very challenging post game challenge mode, which took me 2 days to finish, but it was damn satisfying. IMO this game defines fast paced action games. This game was criticized because the enemies look like a main enemy type in a famous Bioware Game.

#36 - One of the major characters in this game, was not seen in a sequel, but might be re-introduced in the next game in the series. This game is often considered the best in the franchise by most of the hardcore fans. This is also a fighter, it's a sequel to a game which almost didn't get localized because the developer thought that the Western Audience wouldn't like it.

Because of this franchises popularity, many japanese only franchises got localized outside of Japan, one of them being my favorite franchise in gaming.

#35 - Was an exclusive, then it was no longer exclusive, but then a special edition made this an exclusive again. A terrible design choice in the sequel killed all hype for this franchise. Gameplay involves using grapple hooks to climb up ledges, and thermal packs to survive the extreme conditions.

#32 - While 3D is all the rage now, this game was one of the first games to properly utilize the consoles two screens. It's named after a GBA franchise, which was a sequel to a Japan only Gameboy franchise.

#31 When you hack into a research computer in this game, you can ask the following questions, and get these answers:

What happened to China? Reports uncertain. China my be fictional.
Can mole rates be domesticated? Yes if defanged, declawed, & lobotomized
Can Centaurs talk? Abundance of tongues suggest so.

37: Bulletstorm?

36: Tekken 3?

35: Final Fantasy XIII

How was bullet storm not creative? What enemy types mimic a Bioware game?

Tekken 3 almost didn't get localized? Not the game, but wow this hint is pretty vague.

Grapple Hooks and Thermal packs in FFXIII? Also a terrible design choice in FFXIII killed the hype for the FF series. For My #35 there is no design choice flaws, but the sequel was a mega flop because of them.

Had a very challenging post game challenge mode, which took me 2 days to finish, but it was damn satisfying. IMO this game defines fast paced action games. This game was criticized because the enemies look like a main enemy type found in Mass Effect. This game also has an achievement named after a Mass Effect Ship because one of the ships in this game looks almost identical. There is also a short stealth level where the game makes fun of Sam Fisher (Splinter Cell).

This was a controversial game IMO because it was one of the few X-Box/PC exclusives which let you play online for free with a Silver Membership. This feature was later removed, thus charging X360 owners to play the game online, but PC/PS3 owners could play for free.

This is an RPG-hybrid, which was critisized for being too RPG-like, but I love it for the slow motion headshots, with extra gore enabled.

Those above are still unanswered. I'd give more hints if people attempted at my hints more.

#30 A prequel which takes place immediately before the very first game in the series. This is the game where everyone dies........everyone but the protagonist in the original game, and all the sequels since.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've been reading your hints since you first posted them and I just have no idea on any of them, so no point making any guesses.

Last year, I was too easy..... I'll update them with some more details, take a stab at em.

I'm going to take a stab at this and say Super Smash Bros.

Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! (SNES/1996)

In my opinion, the best of the DKC trilogy on SNES. The graphics and music are gorgeous, as always, and the levels and worlds are fun and challenging to explore. What really sets DKC3 apart from 1 and 2 is its inclusion of adventure elements. When Dixie and Kiddy aren't bashing bad guys and running, climbing, and swimming around each meticulously designed level, they're solving puzzles, playing mini-games, and exploring hidden caves. It makes for a deeper, richer game experience.

Thought Kresnik would guess it, even though my clue was vague, but I guess he didn't see it

'Theme Hospital'

for the PC released in 1997.

Surprisingly a fun and addicting game. 'Theme Hospital' is timeless. By far the best game of the 'Theme'-series, the game remains fun to play in any day-and-age. The game combines basic construction and management functions with silly humour and all-around goofyness. Naturally, the objective of the game is to run a hospital effectively, to make enough money and cure enough patients to proceed to the next level.

The game starts off easy enough, with just a few simple to cure diseases and few available rooms to build. Later on though, the game gets progressively harder, as there are more diseases, more rooms and more needy patients. In fact, I've never completed the game fully, because of one frustrating aspect; the so-called epidemics. Sadly, you can't really make your own hospital, as each level begins with an empty template building, whoch the player must efficiently organize.

Gameplay is simple, but good and effective, but the thing that keeps luring me back to this game once in a while is the humour. All those diseases are for the most part fictional and the most ridiculous things imaginable. Nevermind their descriprions. On top of that, patients express emotions in the most elaborate ways, most notably when they're on the toilet.

#31 Hint

This spin-off brings the until now realistic setting into the world of myth.
