Clues for 38 and 37:

38: A beat-em-up series that is still going strong today. This game was the first in the series to truly add a third-dimension to movement.

37: A retro title where you travel to the Pyramids in Egypt, the Acropolis in Greece, Neuschwanstein in Germany and Miami in the US.

Super sorry Seamgs. Things came up and for a second I thought that completing my list would be impossible. Things changed but I took me a while to think if I should add of my own rules to my list. I decided not to but it still made it difficult to finish my list, but it is done now and it will be up to date on the list. I'll make the videos later but I'll make them all before the new year.

Any way here are 39-49:

39. Professor Layton and the Curious Village (DS)

40. Picross 3D (DS)

41. Ms.Pac-Man (arcade)

42. Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader (Gamecube)

43. WarioWare: Twisted! (GBA)

44. The Wonderful 101 (Wii U)

45. The Simpsons Hit & Run (Gamecube)

46. Just Dance 3 (Wii)

47. SBCG4AP (Wii)

48. Ducktales Remastered (Wii U)

49. Odama (GC)

Hint for 36: In my opinion, the second best game (and also the second game) in an excellent series which began halfway through the 6th gen, lost its way about three years ago, and seems to have found it again earlier this year (to some extent).

'Professor Layton & Pandora's Box'

for the Nintendo DS released in 2009.

This game surprised me significantly. When I played it. It was amazing! And it put the series permanently on my gaming-map. I never expected it, because I bought the game used in 2011. Afterwards, I got the sequel, and the new 3DS game will be mine sooner rather than later. The game proved what kinds of games were perfect for the DS. Belated proof to me, because I got it quite late, but proof nonetheless.

'Professor Layton & Pandora's Box' has a complicated, compelling story that leaves you wondering what's next. In fact, all 'Laytons' do, but the first one I played stayed with me. I'm not sure it is because it was the first, or because I liked the setting in a train and a castle so much. The game features a lot of quirky characters, and Layton and Luke themselves are excellent protagonists.

Naturally, the plot and the characters are just vehicles to carry the main purpose of the game; solving puzzles. Real puzzles no less. Riddles and those small puzzles you would normally do with pen and paper. Of course, the first give-or-take ten puzzles are quite easy, and meant to get into the spirit of the rest of the game, but most puzzles are genuinly puzzling. Gotta search for those hint-coins. Especially the extra puzzles, those outside of the main story, those are actually hard to solve! Not only the puzzles are puzzling, the game's story's mysteries are mysterious as well.

#36 Hint

This game proves that a system's main feature, one that this particular system's even named after, isn't just for show!

38 - Ninja Gaiden?

37 - Bomb Jack?

38- no, not that old.

37- yes!

So, I have finally caught up on work....now to catch up on my top 50! Hints below:

#46 - Often Regarded as the Best game ever made. I clearly disagree. There is a large petition for remaking the sequel to this game.

#45 - An underappreciated fighter published by Sony. This game is super fun because you can impale people with stuff you break.

#44 - One of the most expensive games on eBay, more expensive then Earthbound. It's similar to MegaMan

#43 - The Sequel to #46

#42 - The end of a trilogy. One of the biggest complaints to this game is that the ending is very definite, and leaves no room for sequels. As a result they made a pre-quel to this franchise afterward, which was terrible.

#41 - Another end of a trilogy. The complaint for this game was that regardless of how you played the trilogy, you still saw one of 3 endings.

#40 - A spiritual successor to one of Squaresofts best games. The developer is not Square, and this franchise still see's a new entry every few years.

#39 - This game never localized, despite strong sales from this newly localized franchise. Because of this, the next game in the series is often given credit for introducing new features (like creating a character after yourself) despite this game being the one to do so.

#38 - One of the only games where they managed to make a proper 4th installment on a trilogy that ended very conclusively. I.i. it's the 4th game in a trilogy

#37 - This game received some praise for mocking other well established franchises but critisizm for a lack of originality. Had a very challenging post game challenge mode, which took me 2 days to finish, but it was damn satisfying. IMO this game defines fast paced action games.

#36 - One of the major characters in this game, was not seen in a sequel, but might be re-introduced in the next game in the series. This game is often considered the best in the franchise by most of the hardcore fans.

A lot of hints, good luck!
