Just a curious lifestyle question, how much money have you spent on Video Games?

More specifically, the total $ since you were born, including gifts recieved, gifts given, accessories, games, systems, DLC, rentals, subscriptions, microtransactions, etc.

Personally, I estimate I have spent + recieved in the $30,000 range; of course, that is over 20+ consoles and 20+ years of gaming.

I have no idea how much I've spent but with 250+ games it must be a lot.

Who knows? I'm gonna guess about $15,000.

I can recall owning about 20 game consoles. As a kid I would rent a lot or borrow games. As a teen, I did more pirating than buying.

For the past years, I've probably spend around a $1000 a year on gaming. I don't think I'm gonna be spending as much money next gen though.

This gen so Far 3DS, XBO, and WiiU.

plus there is steam, XBL, XBLA, PSN games, and all the past consoles and games ive gotten

I dont feel like doing the math but a lot for a hobby.

Roughly 30 years of gaming.

I'm guessing over $50,000.

Well spent if you ask me.

Too much.

Enough to put a deposit on a house.

My estimate since I started gaming 20+ years ago, about $15k to $20k. I have to take into account the freebies that I got when I was a kid hehehehe

Much less than I spent on sportbetting :hang
