I replied to a guy on Miiverse who had COD Ghosts on order, but was going to return it without playing it after seeing 3/10 on the meta user reviews. I pointed out that the clue was in the title "user reviews" and would most likely be people trolling. Thankfully he took my advice and is now loving the game, he actually thanked me which is nice.

Personally i think review scores should be abolished, the reviewer should do a written review of his/her opinions then instead of a scoring system do a pros and cons list. This will allow us to make our own minds up if a game is worth purchasing. I had a massive gripe over the inconsistent review scores of Sonic lost world recently, there was no consistentcy in the scoring.

anything that scores higher than 2.7 on metacritic user scores is a great game.

lol i was also looking for real user reviews for ghosts, im gonna get it with my ps4 this yr but wanted to know how good or bad the campaign is compared to the others i had no luck on that even cant find fair utube reviews on it

There's something to be said for being blunt. I like it and agree with this statement.

Aggregate scores in general are a joke. A 7/10 game for one "critic" can be a 4/10 game for another. Averaging out opinions is one of the stupidest ideas in the history of rating systems. To add to the absurdity, Metacritic allows random people to rate movies, games, and music with even less oversight than critics.
