It really just hit me that the PS4 is coming out in 4 days. I check Amazon, sold out (expected), GameStop sold out (expected), Best Buy, WalMart... and I do the same for One and it is completely sold out... I'm just wondering ,if anyone knows if these two systems will be available this December, or even January. I know with the Wii U after like 2-3 weeks they were back in stock because Nintendo put out less supply to give the illusion of high demand, which obviously failed.

Am I screwed?

Unless demand really drops off quick, I doubt you'll be getting either one before next year.

On the bright side, you don't have to be one of the lab rats while Sony/MS work out think kinks in their systems.

I think anyone who didn't take the initiative to pre order and still wants it this year is screwed. When the next shipment comes it will be those violent shopping days before christmas and you will have to push an old lady down to get one lol.

My local gaming store recently got allocated some units from Sony, and I live in a poor neighborhood so I can pick one up practically anytime I want, unless they get robbed...

Most likely you arent going to be able to get one this year unless you fork over a ridiculous amount of cash for one on Ebay. You Probably wont find one until late January is my prediction but I could be wrong, check your local Target many people don't normally preorder from there so you may get lucky. The silver lining of this though if you cant find a system now, buy the time you get it next year there will be a bunch more games out for it.

I'm on the same boat, but times are changing were I am. I was shocked to see a line for GTA5. So If I don't hurry I'll miss out as well. still not sure if I want to get one right now or not.

You could find one if you look. Not everyone is going to pick up their perorders, and many will try to sell on ebay, and when that dosn't work out they'll return them and the stores will restock them. And wii U was never really sold out. I could get one any time i walked into any store in my area around launch. So theres hope. You'll just have to be on you're toes.

I pre ordered three PS4s, and I plan on selling them all. One of which is already sold.
