Also you say borderlands 2? is that coming to the Vita for sure? that is one Genre completely missed on the 3DS there isn't a single FPS on it, which is a shame if you've played Metroid: Hunters, CoD mobilized or the 007 games on the DS also, would think the 3DS would easily be able a nice fps game with its extra power... Jez thinking back to playing CoD online on the normal DS that worked really nicely and was pretty cool netcode for the DS.

I personally feel it's the best one, because the controls feel more precise and I feel the touch stuff works, but they do push you into a lot of them. And yes, 3DS could use more in the shooter genre and vita is getting borderlands 2 in 2014. Let's hope it's not gimped...

Just from PS plus alone, I have more games than for my 3DS. But then again I barely use either system...
If only I had the time to play games... maybe in the summer.

Dead or Alive 5+ is a perfect port, I just didn't feel the game was very good.  Countering was much harder than how I remember it compared to DOA2: Hardcore.  I didn't play 3 or 4 because I never owned an Xbox; so the story was hella confusing for me too.

However, if you like the series then it'd be perfect (and seeing as you spend 40+ hours on Dimensions, then I think you'll be okay).

Dynasty Warriors is great though.  I haven't owned a Musou game since Dynasty Warriors 4 but I'm having a lot of fun with this.

@bold Is there any at all? Thanks for the link to the borderlands story will check that out later on.

And yeah the vita big planet is cool just... I dunno I feel it just suffers a small bit of the original DS's in your face about having a touchscreen which.... for someone who had a DS back in 2005 or so is a fairly tired feeling right now.

Dynasty Warriors is great though.  I haven't owned a Musou game since Dynasty Warriors 4 but I'm having a lot of fun with this. 


If you wanted to fill in all the missing story bits for the Dead or Alive universe btw the game on the 3DS (dimensions) has a great story mode which follows through all the games just little key story points from each time period that you play through to let you know what the heck is going on and which endings basically became canon as the story progressed. If you have access to a 3ds I would advise you give it a look.

And yeah we just have 2 and a half decentish game stores in the town I live and vita shelf space is small. Will probably need to go online to find a copy of DoA5+

3DS is getting Iron Fall early next year which I think will be the first TPS for the console since Resident Evil Revelations.

I know RE:R isn't really a TPS, but it's the closest I can currently think of to one. Don't think there is a single FPS on the system yet, nor one announced.

Insane that there isn't any Call of duty love on the way to it tbh, given that over those 4 games IW sold around 3million DS games and I have to say I sunk about 10-15 hours into the online in modern warfare mobilized alone, it became my toilet game in place of tetris for quite a while haha.

Maybe they've entered into some sort of exclusive handheld gaming contract since declassified came out for the Vita?

I don't understand it either. I don't think it's an exclusivity thing (There isn't a Vita one either and that sold the best part of a million despite being cobbled together in a few months by a small dev)

I wonder if the increased dev resources to make 3DS/Vita titles meant Activision decided it was no longer worth their while making handheld companions.
