After seeing the recent Nintendo successes, I think that Monster Hunter is there to stay, lol.

Well we could see a port, but if you mean a stand alone exclusive then Sony would have to fund it.

a mainline? No but i could see a PS4 game if capcom ever wanted to do a huge home console. They wont make a game in the position they're in for a Vita if it cost more to make than a 3DS version. Also 3DS version would sell millions more.
That said they can do a multiplat but i think capcom stated they wanted the audience to be on one handheld (dont quote me on that!)

Well Monster Hunter Frontier G is a handheld exclusive on Vita...so yeah there is always a way to spin a game into being exclusive.
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
Greatness Awaits!
i dont understand why they wont make it multiplat in the future. but hey, this is capcom we are talking about. they whore out their franchises left and right. i mean, yeah its logical to keep a F2P game console exclusive, thats just another example of how they whore out their franchises.

If the Wii U does badly enough in Japan, maybe one for the PS4? An exclusive Vita one would be hard to fathom at this point.

not exclusive, atleast in the forseeable future.
You might see a PC/PS4 mmo, or something if you want to count that as exclusive.
The game sells best on portables and Sony's portable isn't doing too well now. So Sony has to pay really big bucks to have it exclusive. It's unlikely, but if the Vita picks up maybe Sony would be able to propose a deal.
