A million times this.
It's sad because this newcomer just told you. #inyourface

No, i better occupy my time than read that stuff lately, if people bothered to read the OP that would be awesome as it clearly states that there are enough avid members, as this thread has proven to give clarity to my questions without doing any extra research myself, guess some people just want to get their post count up.
Thanks for the responses, how does ds4 compare with the x360 controller? Similar size and does it have triggers?
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

DS4 is a huge improvement on the DS3 as well as X360 controller, and yes it has new triggers as well.
Also, if you purchase a lot of muliplats, it has been confirmed that multiplats will be superior on PS4 with games running on native 1080p or 900p on PS4 while X1 versions are at native 720p.
Xbox one -better launch games and better follow up for 2014 (titanfall and halo) xbox live is still better even more so since you have to pay to play on psn.if you could just get one I would recommend the x1, but if you can get both get both cuss of naughtydogs next game, kinect seems to work like the 1st should of and even better

Yeah I have to agree the Xbox 1 does have better launch exclusives even though I prefer the PS4 ones though. But the second part is not true IMO that is. As of right now the PS4 has a better 2014 line-up(The Order 1886, Infamous: SS and Drive clup to name a few) but I guess it depends on your taste and what you prefer.
Not sure why he said live is better even more so seeing as you have to pay to play on psn. But you still have to pay to play on live as well. So that didn't make much sense.
Personally I say go with the one that has the games you prefer. All the other stuff is just extra. PSN still works fine, there is party chat now and the controller is indeed improved. So it just boils down to which one has the EXCLUSIVE games you would prefer to play if you ask me that is.
The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

Ah thanks for the clarification on the controller issue, I wasn't sure since I was not a fan of the DS3 in the slightest and found 360 controllers better and more ergonomic to use, whereas I don't even have that large a paws! Yeah the launch lineup for X1 seems stronger to me too, but here's to hoping that the third party titles can keep and grab my attention + ND whip something epic out, as I haven't really had much fun playing any other PS3 exclusives, but haven't the heavy rain developers just released beyond evil? Is there talk of a port for PS4? Seeing as development cycle will likely set them back a few years before anything is released for the next gen consoles.
Now the big motherfucking problem is trying to find a bloody place to purchase that PS4, alternatively I can just trade my 360 and games in before the inevitable price crash once 8th gen gets here and use the credit after Christmas to purchase PS4.

You like multuplats? Well that settles it, ps4. Less money and better multiplats. Plus the controller has been getting rave reviews and people who said they preferred xbox controller are now saying the like ps4.
Integration with the vita? You can play almost every ps4 game remotely on your vita
since you have a vita if you get plus it would give you games for 2 systems there should be several cross buy games in addition to that.
Also there will hopefully be many game that can be remote played on the vita. So if your gf wants the tv for one thing you should still be able to play ps4 games on the vita.
In Brazil, Xbox One, because it costs half the price. (PS4 is 2k dollars and One is 1k dollars)
