Let's assume away the scenario that MS won't force/incentivize companies into establishing parity.

Given that companies aim to make multiplat releases, they wouldn't want to push the envelope with the PS4 if it means the game will be significantly different for the Xbox One.

Why? That never happened with Wii

The issue was not his opinion about the differences between resolutions but the fact it change the talk just because one console have a lower resolution than another.

Before know the real resolution of the games he was pretty clear and solid "I didn't accept anything less than 1080p60 for next-gen".
