Don't do that, don't make it an 'us' vs 'them' debate.
I know Sony makes fine digital cameras. My friend who is a DP just got a bunch of praise from the director cause her lowere rez Sony camera produced more natural skin tones than her fancy 4K RED camera.
What I am infering to is the very specific distances between the emmeter and the reciever on any doppler system. Add to that they are using 'time of flight' to measure distances to they is only a super tiny about of deviation on the distances of the two pieces of equptment. Plus, it has to be affordable and survive falling off a TV and still work. Plus, plenty of things in the pattents and other tech.
Back to the topic. Yes, he was probably overshooting the mark. With the X360 launch he made two demos, one with the current memory and one with twice. He fought hard for the extra RAM and won.
