Yep.  I don't believe in water marking someone else's image but I was pissed. 

The only way you could access the images is if you came to VGChartz.  They aren't available for public searching or do they show up if you just browse Imgur.

Wow. Pachter actually praised vgchartz. He also admits he looks at vgchartz for analyzing.

There's no reason why they would start believing Chartz numbers now - it's been proven to be inaccurate several times. The notable recent one is 5.5M Pokemon X/Y sales.

Actually, there are plenty of gaffers who want to reference vgchartz for estimated numbers, but they cant as they will be banned.

The old data is solid because they are revised as publishers divulge the numbers.

As for the forecasting, it's hit and miss I would say.

You shouldn't blindly believe Pachter just because he's a professional analyst (like when he predicted that Fuse will sell 5 million copies):

Where they got the data matters because it's if not their own prediction, then they shouldn't take credit for it. If they're changing it to match publisher numbers, they should say so.

At the end of the day, VGChart's predictions are kinda of accurate in some instances but mostly hit and miss.
