I've noticed that the 3DS, though it seems to have a lot of fans around here, has little to no hype concerning 2014. This is understandable, seeing as 2013 was amazing for 3DS owners. However, I thought it was a bit tragic how the 3DS seems to be losing momentum in the eyes of many gamers, despite there still being games coming out.

So, here's a sort of early hype thread for the 3DS in 2014.

That's actually a pretty solid line-up, if I could guess that most of those game will release 1st half of 2014.

Super Smash is all the hype anyone needs. I feel the 3DS version will be bigger than the Wii U version, even if the Wii U was doing better than it is right now.

That second screen of Bravely Default has me interested. I erased my demo of the last game without even really trying it. Maybe I will check it out. I know it is a great game. Just did not look up my alley at the time. Major's Mask will be another 3-4 million seller. I would love a Pokemon Snap Wii U or 3DS game though.

I personally think that Kirby should have more hype. We haven't had a new traditional handheld Kirby since 2006!

We haven't seen enough of it to be fair, even if it looks really good.

At least it's coming next year and it's called Kirby Triple Deluxe from what I read.

Please Square Enix bring DQ7 to America! PLEASE!

I hope that Metroid gets announced this year. I feel like it might be time for a 3DS Metroid. Back to the 2D style of super. Please Ninty.

Come to think of it, Sakamoto's only games since Other M have been mingame collections like Rhythm Heaven and Game & Wario. It is quite possible that he's been working on something else for the past 3 and a half years...
