As someone who´s been gaming since the transition between the 8 and 16 bit eras, I´ve heard that line way too often.At the end of the day, it´s subjective.

Besides, some of the games you listed aren´t even confirmed for next year..

Won't list games with no gameplay footage or have a proven track record (critical reception) for producing quality games. But like others said, there's a few missing from the list such as; Dark Souls 2, The Witcher 3, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Hotline Miami 2, The Evil Within, Bayonetta 2, X and Yoshi's New Island.

Also, can't really put Uncharted to the list since the game isn't even announced yet and we dont have a time frame for when its coming (or even if it's even in production). Saying that, the games lineup for 2014 is looking pretty darn amazing.

it's not an entire year and it has similar numbers to xbox 360.

not many megatons in the near future? mario 3d world is this month. next year we have donkey kong, mario kart,X, Bayonetta 2, Smash and most certainly zelda already confirmed. even if this thread was about megatons for 2014 (it isn't), if you don't consider these games megatons, your list should be composed of 0 games.

Given that this thread is very Sony-tilted and the OP is gone for a week, I think i'll shut this down. This is certainly a discussion worth having, but not on these terms.

Maybe for console gamers. For 3DS and Vita fans, 2014 is looking to be a lesser year.
