Forums - Gaming - Something that annoys me concerning Wii U and Vita.

It irks me quite a bit when people complain on games not selling on the Wii U and Vita, proceed by asking "what's wrong with today's gamers", but then in the end don't even buy the games themselves.

So, my message to you. For all of you who complained about the HORRID sales of The Wonderful 101. Did you even buy the game? If yes, then I commend you. If not, you have no right to complain about why it didn't sell.

For all of you who complained about the TERRIBLE sales of Killzone Mercenary, did you buy the game? Same thing goes.

Also a few notable Ps3 exclusives, like Sly Cooper and Puppeteer, but we all know the Ps3 has a vast librairy and doesn't need every game to be successful.

While the Wii U has picked up quite a bit lately, time will only tell if it holds that momentum through new console launches. The Vita is in a similar, if not much worse, position.

Thoughts on people who complain about sales but don't support the games themselves?

Oh no you didn't!

For your information, I bought Killzone Mercenary on launch day merely out of principle. Haven't opened it yet.

Yes, I bought the Wonderful 101 on day one, I put my money where my mouth is

Not really, I can't buy every game at launch. If I complain about the sales of a game, I do have every intention of buying it in the future.

I'm a Vita/Wii U owner but I'm not just going to buy games that don't appeal to me. No, I didn't buy Killzpne or Wonderful 101 because I wouldn't play them. I did buy games like Gravity Rush, Wind Waker HD, Arkham Origins, The Walking Dead, and Resident Evil Revelations. I buy games for fun, not to support some agenda. That's why I won't be buying Assassin's Creed on Wii U. I want third party support but I want the games I want. Bayonetta 2 will be a day one purchase because I want to play it and that's all the justification I need. Really, who blames the consumer because we weren't convinced to buy a game?!?

I buy games that I ask for which is why I bought W101 on it's first week of release but im obviously not going to buy games I don't want to play just to boost their sales.

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

Same here. I try to support a few companies by buying their games day one even if I don't plan to play them inmediatly, as long as I know that is a game I would like. On titles that I know will sell a lot of units without my support I wait till I actually can play them, like Super Mario 3D World or Donkey Kong.
