hmm you may be onto something, means PS4 is doomed after initial hype?

| ps3-sales! said: It irks me quite a bit when people complain on games not selling on the Wii U and Vita, proceed by asking "what's wrong with today's gamers", but then in the end don't even buy the games themselves. So, my message to you. For all of you who complained about the HORRID sales of The Wonderful 101. Did you even buy the game? If yes, then I commend you. If not, you have no right to complain about why it didn't sell. For all of you who complained about the TERRIBLE sales of Killzone Mercenary, did you buy the game? Same thing goes. Also a few notable Ps3 exclusives, like Sly Cooper and Puppeteer, but we all know the Ps3 has a vast librairy and doesn't need every game to be successful. While the Wii U has picked up quite a bit lately, time will only tell if it holds that momentum through new console launches. The Vita is in a similar, if not much worse, position. Thoughts on people who complain about sales but don't support the games themselves? |
In all honesty, W101 was not at the top of my list, but if I had had the extra $$$$ to buy it at release, I would have. I will likely still pick it up when I can afford it. If I had more money to throw around on games, such as in the early days of the Wii, I would more than likely be buying a lot more Wii U games in 2013. So hopefully that changes in 2014.
But yes, people dont't really have a right to bitch about game sales if they didn't bother buying it themselves. Solid point.
I agree with the OP, this was my last purchase:

Sigh, one day my collection will look that good
I only bought monster hunter unite off the store.
I only bought the vita because of all the free games I got from PS+ and after playing them, I dont think any are worth more than £20 except uncharted.
The problem is that they are trying to sell us games which are less than half the quality of ps3 games but at a similar price. no thanks.

With Need for Speed Most Wanted U, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Nano Assault Neo, and soon Call of Duty Ghosts, Assassin's Creed IV, Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Bayonetta 2, X, FAST Racing Neo, Mario Kart 8, and Yarn Yoshi, nobody can accuse me of not supporting Wii U software. (And third parties)
