They should have just discounted the system.

Offering DK or Smash is a good offer.
What kind of game could they have put anyway? HW, B2, Captain Toad?

Maybe they got a deal on software instead of hardware.
My guess still is that Nintendo is not making it easy to drop prices on the console to really make a profit this quarter.

I don't get it, WiiU has the best games this year (well, exclusives) by a wide margin, and yet...what is this nonsense? Why is it STILL Selling so poorly?

See? this is proof that it's as much about performance on multiplats as it is about exclusives, that's the only reason possible as to why the PS4 is selling so well. I mean, I'm a Sony and Nintendo guy equally, but I still have more excitement for the nintendo games.
