It's an issue of Europe being a lot more expensive than America especially considering localization and rating boards with often less of a return. Atlus never opened an office in EU along with a number of japanese publishers and without offices, manufacturing is impossible without a local publisher. Digital however, just requires submitting to the rating boards and lotcheck.

Seing how its a barebones localization, SMTIV should have been out last year though. Atlus should have went with NISA in the first place.

SMTIV is a really good game so I would advise getting once it's put on sale.
