Yeah, it really shows off 3D, but the Wii U version doesn't shows off HD, but Xenoblade Chronicles X does show off HD.
*looks at poll*
No country for Mario Maker. (LOL)
Just thought about something (maybe you guys have already discussed it but nevertheless)...
Remember the interview this E3 where Miyamoto and Shinya Takahashi said there were two types of Metroid games? Like 2D Metroid, and Prime style games.
They didn't acknowledge Other M! So I think we won't see Metroid games that stray too far from 2D and Prime for a while.
Yep.

The following info comes from a GameRant interview with project lead Tsubasa Sakaguchi...
On release date and single/multiplayer:
“First of all, our plan is to release this as a full retail packaged software in 2015… the first half of 2015. And because we’re releasing this as a full software title, we of course plan to include a single-player mode but then also a one-on-one multiplayer mode that can be played without connecting to the Internet.”
On one-on-one local multiplayer:
“What we can tell you about the one-on-one, at least, is that one player will be using the GamePad, one player will be using the Pro Controller. And we’re actually thinking of having that one-on-one mode be something kinda completely different from the four-on-four one where it’ll be, you know, kind of a lot more stalking and hiding in the ink. It’ll be much more like a quiet mode in a sense.
And, you know, we’ve progressed [in development] at least to that point, but in terms of what we’re going to do with the screens – whether we’re going to have one person on the TV and one person on the GamePad – we’re not sure yet.”

one on one game mode idea sounds kind of interesting

I hope the 1 v 1 is good enough to not look like a joke compared to the online!
Zelda was probably my favorite reveal. It was so f**king awesome!

Sounds like the 3DS is also guaranteed a Metroid as well.
I knew the Wii U was getting a Star Fox & Metroid exclusive for the past 2 or 3 years now.
The 3DS Metroid might be the 2D one, since it will be in stereoscopic 3-D, or maybe the Wii U one will be the 2D one like the Kirby Wii U game. Only time will tell, which system gets the 2D one.
