Has Nintendo made rechargeable Wiimotes yet?

I bought this to charge the Gamepad and Wiimotes

I had already gotten 3rd party rechargeables that failed within weeks, so I'm only gonna go for Nintendo made stuff. You'd think with the Gamepad and Pro Controllers being rechargeable, they have done the same with their Wiimotes by now!

I don't believe there's any "official" rechargeable batteries, no. The ones I got were pretty terrible. Almost never powered the remotes even at full charge.

I thought Japan had received official rechargeable batteries at some point?

That may be the case, but I know when I was looking here in the UK a few years ago I couldn't see any. Seems unlikely things would have changed.

Look what I found whilst I was checking if the Wii U extended battery was back in stock (spoiler alert: it's not even on the site anymore).

Will next Zelda Wii U be more focused on DLC - upgrades - levelling up - rpg ideas?

As much as Im cool for Zelda DLC its something I cant see Nintendo doing.

Definitely guessing it will be a slightly open world adventure like OoT and TP but probably not as dark as TP was
