YES ACCOUNTS are now unified FUCK YES. MIIVERSE 3DS

Finally, unified accounts for 3DS! They didn't mention unified Virtual Console purchases, but I'm hoping that comes eventually. Miiverse for 3DS is looking awesome as well!

A Link Between Worlds & Super Mario 3D World are definite purchases now, they both look fantastic!

Top down levels in 3DW is genius, this franchise just never ceases to amaze me at its diversity.

The following is a series of real-time reactions I had to watching this Nintendo Direct for the first time. Enjoy!

• 0:00 - E through M? E is obvious, but I can't think of any major M games from Nintendo coming soon. Maybe Titanfall on the eShop?
• 0:10 - Opening outside of Nintendo HQ? That's a bit unusual.
• 0:45 - Reggie: He's EVERYWHERE!
• 1:20 - Zelda time already? Yay!
• 2:15 - This game gets less ugly every time I see it, but I doubt I'll ever get used to this art style
• 2:25 - Witch delivery system? Yay!
• 3:10 - That was clever.
• 3:29 - Streetpass? A nice addition.
• 4:00 - Classic Ganon? Who saw that coming? Everybody
• 4:25 - Oh boy, more specialized hardware I can't afford.
• 5:30 - Normally I'd never go to Instagram, but now I'll have to visit it eventually before the 22nd.
• 6:12 - New warp system? Good to have.
• 6:50 - So we're saving a non-Zelda girl, ala Wind Waker?
• 7:15 - Majora's Mask reference? Is this a hint?
• 8:00 - A good idea for streetpass with Zelda I guess.
• 8:30 - Mario Party? I'll take a brief nap.
• 9:30 - Actually, it doesn't look bad. I just don't like handheld party games very much.

• 12:48 - February 7? 2014 is off to a good start for the 3DS.

• 32:50 - We could have used a surprise, but a decent show.
