3DS News: Afternoon November 12, 2013

• As a friendly reminder, Nintendo Direct tomorrow! Expect info on games being released in 2014. Already announced 3DS games of 2014 include Mario Golf: World Tour, Bravely Default, Yoshi's New Island, Super Smash Bros 4, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, and Kirby.
• Pokemon X/Y music is on iTunes. You can pay 99 cents a song, or get 212 tracks for $10. Even if you think 90% of the new music is not worth it, this makes buying the entire album still a great deal!
• A Pokemon type strengths and weaknesses chart has been making its rounds on the internet. Here's a link to the original. Pay special attention to the new Fairy type. Today I learned that Fighting and Ground are the best offensive types.
• One of the people reviewing A Link Between Worlds blatantly said future entries should emulate some parts of it. Apparently, the first reviews go up Thursday.
• According to a report from Kotaku, after starting the new Zelda, you get the sword in about three minutes and enter your first dungeon in five. That's about how long it takes to get into the action in Link to the Past, give or take a minute. Ocarina of Time gives you a dungeon about 20 minutes in, and Skyward Sword takes 70 minutes.
• IGN has a new quiz about Zelda. Can you get all 27 questions right? Without Google or any wikis I mean.
• Black Friday Info for the 3DS! At Walmart, Paper Mario: Sticker Star will be $15 and Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be $25. At Kmart, a Luigi's Mansion 3DS bundle is only $149, and Pokemon X/Y, Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, and Mario Party: Island Tour will each be $30, $10 off. Toys R Us will have a "Buy 1 get 1 Free" deal for games costing $15 to $20, inclduing Adventure Time, Lego Batman 2, and Scribblenauts Unlimited.

Wii U news of... well, today!

• More Super Mario 3D World new: footage, level, introduction to the story (SO EXCITED!!!!)
• Save $10-$15 at Kmart in Wii U games during Black Friday
• Wii Fit U delayed one week in UK
• CoD: Ghosts is a dissapointment according to Digital Foundry, plus comparison videos
• Ubisoft shares shipments of Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell Blacklist, etc (but no specific consoles)
• "DUCKSTEP" (Oh god, Capcom) trailer for Ducktales Remastered
• New Skin Packs of Batman Arkham Origins released today

And as another reminder, ND tomorrow for 3DS 2014 titles and hopefully Wii U (PLEASE, MIIIIIIIIIIVERSE AND XXXXX)

3DS News: Evening of November 12, 2013

• The first review of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds has been somewhat leaked, from Game Informer. It's generally positive.
• Said game's website is now open. It includes game details and media.
• Fun fact: you know how Lorule is a world in the new Zelda? It's a pun! Not only is it "Low" as opposed to "High"rule, but "Lo" is the Hebrew word for "anti" or "not."
• More boss footage! Dat boss theme remix!
• More music!
• Apparently, the villain Yuga is not the top dog of his evil ladder. He serves a leader currently only known to us as "Her Grace." Perhaps she's Hilda, Zelda's counterpart in Lorule?

OK, did homework and waited for some news to come out, looks like today was a slow day for Wii U:
