3DS News: February 9, 2014

Here's an interview with Renegade Kid, the makers of Moon and Mutant Mudds. Get Moon Chronicles when it comes out everyone!
Two great deals for the 3DS XL! Get it for $175 from Target or $180 with... one of the two Mario RPG's (they seem to have mixed up Sticker Star and Dream Team)... at Walmart.
In case you were wondering, Bravely Default is about 3.24 GB. Considering how the 3DS game card is currently about 4 GB maximum, that's the upper level of what's currently possible on the platform. Here's hoping Nintendo starts producing 8 GB Game Cards for some epic titles!
Retro City Rampage DX on the 3DS is getting a free update. A bug will be fixed and some features added. Considering the positive reception the game in general and this port in particular have gotten, this seems like a game worthy of supporting.
This is probably already known, but Bravely Default was once going to be a Final Fantasy game.
Since it's already the 10th in Japan, I can now say that it's been 26 years since Dragon Quest 3 was released, making the series one of the largest gaming franchises in the country's history. Not 3DS-related, but I like my historical trivia.
