As far as I know, no one said that CryEngine 3 couldn't run on WiiU. In fact, Crytec said that they had Crysis 3 (which uses that engine) running on WiiU but EA, the publisher, decided to cancel that version.

As for Sonic Boom, I'm speachless. They have tried so many changes with Sonic that I can honestly say that I no longer give a sh!t about it . They should have done the EP-2 for the 2D Sonic game they launched digitally years ago which looked like the Mega Drive/Genesis ones.

So, erm...I've just got the new edition of ONM, and I noticed towards the end they had a feature called "Alternate ONM Awards", and one of their awards "The Keyser Soze Trophy For Lies" was won by Watch_Dogs. It goes on to talk about the promise of the game, but then talks about how it all "disappeared, like dust on the wind", and how they "don't know what to believe anymore" and how raw the topic still is.

Kinda..weird really.

I read something similar in Play magazine a couple of months back.  They said they were growing more and more suspicious and pessmistic about the quality of the game because of the lack of information being released and hardly anyone in the industry outside of Ubisoft had seen anything in months.
