This is what I expect from the next Nintendo Direct. It will be next wendnesday to go along with the quarterly numbers and investor meeting.
Start off with trailers for Bravely Default and Tropical Freeze, one last chance to hype them up before they release in a few weeks.
Announce Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon HD coming in March. This game has been rumored and Iwata stated Year of Luigi would continue into 2014, this would make it exactly one year since it originally started.
Move on to announce that with the end of Year of Luigi begins the Year of Yoshi. Have trailers for Yoshi's New Island with a special edition Yoshi 3DS at launch and trailer for Yarn Yoshi with a Q3 release date.
After that have trailers and release dates for games releasing in the first half of the year. Im expecting Mario Kart, Mario Golf, Kirby Triple Deluxe and Bayonetta 2 all release sometime between April and June.
From there go on to reveal some localizations from Japan. Dragon Quest VII for 3DS, Dragon Quest X for Wii U and Monster Hunter 4 for both. All these games scheduled for Summer release.
New trailer for X and new character reveal for Smash Bros, probably Yoshi due to announcing Year of Yoshi. Both these games with Fall release windows.
For the grand finale have a 30 second teaser trailer for Zelda and announce a full reveal at E3 along with some new game announcements.

This all sounds accurate. It's not amazing like last January Direct, but it's great, considering they have so many games without release dates. But I'd expect more new games. They've only not announce new games in a ND for the ones that were going to be about already announced games. But I think they will make another Wii U Direct instead of a ND, like last January, just cause the Wii U is the most talked system, not the 3DS.
@Bolded: That won't happen... Aonuma already said they will announce next Zelda ar E3 2014. But if it happens, they're Stock would go up to $50 per share!

Well 3DS missed its forcast by a large margin as well so I think it makes sense to include both. As for Zelda he didnt say he would announce it there, just that it would be there. Anyway a short teaser isnt out of the question then just have a big blowout for E3.

Yeah, but 3DS is selling good regardless of hitting a prediction or not... Wii U is failing on the other hand.
