Since there's no Azran Legacy-specific thread (at least I couldn't find it), i'll just post this here:

HOLY S*** AT THAT REVEAL ON CHAPTER 6!!!!!!!1111!!!ELEVEN. I was not expecting that. At all. Blew my mind.

Are you sure you and I aren't the same person? You know, I've just got to World 6 on 3D World, playing through Azran Legacy (though I'm just entering The Hive now), so...don't spoil it!

I do have a wild, likely completely wrong far-fetched theory from the game, and it's as follows:

Professor Sycamore commented in the Phoenix City about having a daughter. Now, is it possible this "daughter" of his is Emmy? Or maybe it's Aurora? Clearly he has some dislike of Targent, and he's desperately in to the Azran. It's probably completely wrong, but either way it would be neat.

As I say, likely completely wrong, but you never know!

Ahahaha, we probably are. But most likely we just have good taste in games .

Not gonna spoil your theory, but I'll only say that Sycamore does have a very deep seated resentment towards Targent in general. Chapter 5 has a pretty nifty revelation regarding him, but I'd already forseen it before. The chapter 6 revelation really caught me by surprirse though!

Fair enough, guess I'd better finish Azran Legacy then! Might struggle to do it in a day though.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Okay, this is getting out of hand level 5. GODDAMIT! Did you all just had a meeting in which you went "Let's cram all of the series most upsetting, sad and miserable revelations into final chapter, yeah that's a good idea!".

And stop with the onions you frigging invisible ninjas!

Also great for Yoshi, but how about western dates for Kirby?

Wii U news of 09/01/2014 (one day later edition):

  • "Super Special Sponsor" of Niko Niko Chokagi, Miyamoto says...
  • WatchDogs to release on June?
  • MarioKart 8 in 60 FPS footage!
  • Nintendo wins patent lawsuit, then IA Labs loses patent portfolio (any lawyers here? I don't get that) to Nintendo!

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Some good news:

http://www.engadget.com/2014/01/10/nintendo-record-3ds-game-sales/

Nintendo's handheld business is booming right now, and the company has the stats to prove it. In its annual overview released today, the company says it sold a record-breaking 16 million 3DS games in 2013, which translates to a 45 percent increase over last year. US consumers played a big part in Nintendo's bumper year, accounting for 11.5 million of Nintendo's 35 million 2DS and 3DS lifetime sales. Despite its precarious financial situation and a recent ruling requiring it toshare some of its 3DS sales revenue, Nintendo reckons it has plenty more left in the tank: "We're not slowing down in 2014," says Scott Moffitt, Nintendo's EVP of Sales, "the best days of Nintendo 3DS are still to come."

Not bad.
