yeah when I saw those little green creatures i was like wtf i dont have that power up really good game so far im half in i believe but some of those jumps can be really frustrating..

The jumps can be frustrating. None of them are required, though...which is cool. Except when you find yourself down there with the Etecoons. I do admit, having the save station down there is a bit of a slap in the face. I'd consider this moment in the game to be like what happens in a movie when the main character is just thrown into the most dire of circumstances and there seems to be no way out. The wave of relief and exaltation as they pass that challenge is so rewarding to both them and the viewer. It really is inspiring and gives you that feeling of transendence.

I just had a thought. What if it starts normally, Iwata introduces Direct then says: "Please Understand"
Blank screen with end message for 2-3 seconds and boom back on with Iwata/Sakurai/Reggie/Shibata/Trinen/Aounuma/Miyamoto/All/Some shouting APRIL FOOLS!!! With it actually happening right after.
